Experiential Learning!

Consider a School Garden or a Farm Field Day.

In addition to teacher training, Utah Agriculture in the Classroom works with teachers and volunteers statewide to provide resources for gardens, classroom visits, and field trips.

To really be inspired, meet the National 2011 Agriculture Advocate award winner, Belva Parr from Utah County!

Get more ideas for contextualizing your curriculum from the  Celebrating Ag Day website and by visiting the Utah Agriculture in the Classroom facebook page!
